Caring for Our Lands: California Public Domain Allotments Conference 2025 is a success!

We were fortunate to hold our 2025 public domain allotments conference in collaboration with the University of California in Davis (UC Davis) and California Indian Legal Services (CILS) at Rolling Hills Casino and Resort in Corning, California at the end of May 2025. We were so lucky to have our UC Davis Data Team, the Bureau of Indian Affairs' (BIA) Northern California Agency, and CILS on site to provide the dozens of allottees who attended from throughout California with technical assistance.

UC Davis provided allotment reports for allottees, the BIA was able to inform people which lands they held title to, and CILS was able to process individual trust interest forms and more. The presentations from our speakers were fascinating and informative, and we are so appreciative of their contributions. We are so grateful to the sensational venue of Rolling Hills for providing us with a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. We are also grateful to Nomlaki Weleaq Olkapna for performing beautiful and uplifting song and dance during our cultural hour.
